(5 lbs. yields about 20 sandwiches... make sure there is some fat on that bad boy)

1-2 bottles of your favorite BBQ sauce

1 small onion

1 lemon

A little butter

A little Salt and pepper

A little sugar

Put your Pork Roast into a crackpot on HIGH for about 4-6 hours or until the meat is starting to fall off the bone. Dump roast into a large strainer with a large bowl underneath to catch the juice. SAVE THE JUICE it will be used. Taking two forks shred up the roast removing any bones. Put shredded pork back into crocks pot, add some of the juice you saved back into the crock pot also. Then add BBQ sauce to taste, some people like less to taste the meat some like more… its up to you.

Dice the onion and saute it in a small frying pan with butter salt and pepper till slightly browned then add to the crock pot. Toss in the sugar and squeeze half a lemon juice into the mix as well. Turn the crock pot down to LOW and cook for a few hours longer. If it gets to dry add some more of the juice and sauce if its too wet leave the lid off while it simmers.

Serve on buns with your favorite cole slaw… oh yeah das' some good eats!David Selvaduraihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03943875473420699698noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5029096087277890911.post-19195564222257255242010-10-11T11:40:18.283-07:002010-10-11T11:40:18.283-07:00Hey there! I think it would be great to start something where I live similar where we meet, eat, pray, and hit the streets to go witnessing. And I love Pork BBQ but have never made it myself. Anyways, that would be awesome.
God bless you brother!Jasonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12894902622668156967noreply@blogger.com
