My sheep hear My voice, and I know them and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish, neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father's hand. I and My Father are one. (John 10:27-30)
Otherwise known as Cruise Night Pt. 2, the Burbank Classic Car show is always a lot of fun.
Although smaller in size than the Glendale event, the Burbank show has an arguably higher caliber of vehicles.
Electric cars are very popular this year!
Over 2,000 Giant $100 bills saturated the show. Notice the extra bill in this man's other hand. Many people clamored for seconds!
Tonight's team included: Mark, Dean, Sai, Dr. Jack, Barbara, McKinley, Richard, Jorge, Jeremy, and Steve.
"A Difficult Doctrine" - Nahum 1:6
Pastor Tim has been passionately preaching about the reality of the coming destruction in the Lake of Fire for all who reject the free gift of salvation provided by the atoning work of Jesus Christ. You can find this by clicking on the "Listen - Sunday Sermon" link on the home page of the CBC Website. These two sermons (7/20 & 7/27) provide lots of valuable material for us to share from the box, and in personal witnessing.
Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone. The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it. . .And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. . . Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire. (Revelation 19:20, 20:10-12,14-15)
The Morning Shift - NoHo Station 7/23/2014
As always, the Lord blessed the morning proclamation of the Gospel. Many tracts and Bibles were received. Jeremy, Richard, Paul and Steve comprised the team. As often happens, the Jehovah's Witnesses were passing out their literature. When we finished praying, they were absent. Lately, though, they have decided to stand on this side of the entrance to the subway, within earshot of the preaching. Our prayer is that the Holy Spirit will draw some to question their dogma.
Please Note: The Wednesday Morning NoHo Metro Station outreach will go on hiatus during the month of August, but will resume in September, Lord willing.
Abortuary Duty 7/26/2014
Brother Don is the strong and godly leader of this outreach, having followed in the footsteps of brother Tony Miano who is presently involved in other ministries. During the month of August brother Don will be carrying on alone in his mission to stand as a voice crying in the wilderness, a watchman seeking to be an intercessor of God's grace and judgment to those who seek to murder their child. If you have a heart for these children, please prayerfully consider joining in this important ministry. It has been confirmed by numerous victories that when believers stand outside these clinics, their mere presence causes some to reconsider this terrible "choice," and turn away. Don has light weight signs you can hold, so all you need to do is to follow the Lord and respond to the call.
The FPA clinic is located at 10200 Sepulveda Blvd., Mission Hills. Don is outside the clinic every Tuesday and Saturday morning from 8am to 10am. This is the time of the week when surgical abortions are scheduled. Street parking is available nearby.

Living Waters video: College Campus One2One
Brother Tony Miano spoke to a young woman on a local College campus. He presents a thoughtful and coherent "Good Person Test."
HB Open Air #22 - Ray Prays with Nigie
Ray Comfort's recent presentation is instructive in several ways. He works without an amp (Whitefielding), he places a box for the heckler to stand on, he uses graphics, and he keeps the encounter rather brief.
One thing common to both these presentations is the tone of sincere concern for the person they are witnessing to. They remember and frequently use the person's name. They listen carefully to the answers given and respond based upon the person's answer. They make this look easy, but as we all know, it's tough to keep focused when you are trying to communicate one-to-one with a crowd of people watching. One suggestion for the memory-impaired: keep a small pad of paper handy to jot down a name, or key word or scripture to stay focused on. And keep the tone friendly.
Praise Report!
This email was sent to Dave by a brother in Colorado. He forwarded it to us as it demonstrates the effectiveness of tracts!
Brother David,
I met this guy awhile back who lived near us here in Florissant. He was retired but was a Creationist and a Botanist. His name is Steve Austin, so I emailed him that there was a Creation tour in the Springs by the other famous "Steve Austin."
It turns out that he has moved over to Grand Junction and he couldn't make it, however, he had met the other Steve Austin some years ago. But, the cool thing is, years ago, he drove a bus in Denver and part of his job when he finished his route was to clean out the bus. One day when he was cleaning out his bus, someone left a Bible Tract in the back. He got the tract, read it, and he GOT SAVED! PTL
