NOHO/HOLLYWOOD - TOMORROW!! 6/30

If anyone is interested Lawman and I are going meeting at the NoHo subway station tomorrow morning at 7:30 a.m. we plan to hand out tracts there for a while then go to Hollywood Blvd. Apparently there are HUGE crowds that are visiting the Michael Jackson Star on the Walk of Fame.

Should be interesting. We plan to be back before 11:00 am.

Also, this is the closest thing to a "Michael Jackson Tribute" this blog will get.

FOLLOW UP:

Well it wasn't what I thought it was going to be, already the flame of Michael's fame is dying out as there were few people there to visit his SHRINE. Which I will show you some video of soon. Overall its always great to share the good news with people. After I preached in Hollywood a guy sitting in a truck behind me who listened took a Gospel of John. That was great! Glory to God for the whole thing. We just GO and He works in hearts!

Burgers and Tracts!

Just a reminder that any family outing can be enjoyed as family time and afterwards enjoyed as evangelists! We just went to a 50's diner and enjoyed a personal "jukebox" at our table, burgers fries and a shake. MMMMM! Afterwards we walked over to the Burbank AMC and as a family handed out 100 tracts in about 10 minutes, then hopped in our car for the GETAWAY!

Glendale/ Noho - FOLLOW UP

Last night we started in Glendale. The team was represented by Sharon, Forest and myself from CBC. Dean from Hope and Bee from Grace Church.

I have to be honest Glendale is such a cold environment. People are in their "love of pleasure" mode and just seem to ignore us. We were there for about 2 hours and were then joined by Greg's team from "Last Words Radio". I decided it would be best for us to change location to spread out the salt, so we went to NOHO. Originally we were going to go to Hollywood but then decided to just stay at the subway station... WHAT A BLESSING! I had the privilege to share a thorough Gospel presentation with the largest crowd I've had yet (who were not trapped in a line) which was about 50-70 people and they were attentive! There wasn't even any traffic noise it was just pure gospel!! Dean also preached 2 times, we had several teens come up and get a Gospel of John. I saw Sharon and Bee both witnessing 1-on-1 and we handed out about 300 more tracts... Glory to God!

JULY CALENDAR!

Just a reminder we are in GLENDALE this Saturday July 27th from 5-8:00 p.m.

This is the month of JULY agenda for Saturday evangelism:

July 4th- SPECIAL EVENT!!!!- Shepard of the Hills fireworks! We will all be meeting at my house at 3:00 p.m. Please RSVP my email if you are going! We will carpool to Porter Ranch for a HUGE opportunity to hand out tons of tracts!! Lawman and several other evangelist are going to be there as well. He is going to have his prayer table open with bibles. This is a total family thing if you want to bring your little ones as well. You're welcome to hand out tracts and then just have some family time of you would like.

July 11th- Burbank Media Center 5-8:00 p.m.

July 18th- Cruise Night 2009

July 25th- NoHo/Hollywood we will meet at the Noho subway station at 4:00pm and after we get back from Hollywood around 8:00 we'll eat and fellowship at a local "diner".

Burbank Media Center - 6/20/09 - FOLLOW UP

Sorry it took so long to post this. We had a great time as usual. CBC was represented by Mike, Joanna, Scott, Sharon, Dru & myself. We also had Ian (Law mans brother-in-law) and his team of fledgling evangelists visit. Along with Dean, Sai and Derick. handed out about 700 tracts, I also saw a lot of 1-on-1 witnessing.

Afterwards Dean, Derick and myself decided we didn't get enough witnessing so we went to Hollywood. I can't explain it... its like you can cut the spiritual warfare with a knife! Anyone who has gone knows what I'm talking about. And after 9:00 it gets really crazy. Derick preached "Ala Whitfield" at a street corner. I had a guy cuss me out for about 5 minutes solid! What's amazing is it drew a crowd and with an AMP so everyone still heard the good news. The Lord emboldened Dean to get up and preach right after me. We ended up handing out another 300 tracts and went home tired and satisfied!!

TRACT DONATION!!

Yesterday on a whim a brother from CBC hit the NOHO subway station with me for first time! The Lord worked in his heart to graciously donated almost $500 to buy gospel tracts for the street ministry today!!

I have already put it to good use and ordered 9100 tracts from Living Waters... thats a lot of Millions! Praise the Lord!

Just imagine it!

NOHO Subway Station - 6/17 Follow up

Sent out a quick "text" that I was going to NoHo from 3:30-5:30, I was joined by Jeremiah and even Dru and his "peeps" swung by as well. We handed out about 1000 tracts!! Dru and I open air preached; at one point I had a guy heckle me, I spoke engaged him from the box and shared the gospel... he took a Gospel of John! So did 4 other people.

Blue Letter Bible Donation!

This is so cool! A couple of weeks ago Dean, Sai and myself went to Hollywood Blvd. on a whim. After I open air preached a guy approached me and introduced himself as Frank. He encouraged us in what we were doing and gave me a business card. On the card it said "Blue Letter Bible"(which is a very good online bible study tool) I told him I use that in my studies... Frank is the founder of that ministry and others like it to equip the saints.

He offered to send us 200 Blue Letter Bible software Cd's that we can give people who we speak with that have an interest in learning more about the bible. I just got them in the mail today!! What a blessing! This is one of those things that happens to encourage me that the Lord's blessing is on this ministry! PRAISE THE LORD!

NOHO/HOLLYWOOD - FOLLOW UP

We had such a great time on Saturday. CBC was represented by Sharon, Faith, Forest, Clint, Steve and myself. We were also joined by Derrick, Dean and his wife Sai. Also a friend of theirs visiting from up north, Mike. NoHo as usual has waves of people to hand tracts to. Dean, Steve and I preached there. 

Then we hopped on the subway and in 15 minutes were in Hollywood! We stayed mobile preaching in 3 different locations. Sharon and Faith found a great spot to pass out tracts at a busy crosswalk. Steve and Derrick also preach in front of Mann's Chinese theater. Over all we handed out about 23oo tracts! Praise the Lord! After we got back to NoHo we had a sweet time of fellowship and dinner at a local Greek restaurant. 

What a blessing! The Lord is good to give us this ministry.

"Are You a Good Person?" TRACTS!!

In the foyer tomorrow there will be a small display with English and Spanish "Are You a Good Person" tracts. These are some of my favorites and inspired me to make my own. They communicate the Law and the Gospel and are great for all ages!

I encourage all "seasoned" evangelists to encourage others to use this resource to reach their lost friend and loved ones.

REMINDER...NOHO/HOLLYWOOD Saturday 6/13

Just a reminder for tomorrow, we are meeting at NOHO subway 4:00 p.m. then going to Hollywood until 7:30-8:00.

After we get back to NOHO I would love for us to walk over to one of the coffee places to fellowship for about half an hour if anyone would like to do that.

FOLLOW UP: Went out on my own to Hollywood, handed out about 200 tracts. Was blessed to open air once. A young girl named Cindy was there with seemed to be her mom and grandma, she watched me preach from afar... and watched... and watched...I offered Gospel of Johns. No one wanted one so I started to pack up then I heard a little voice ask "Are you giving those away?" it was Cindy...I told her I'd pray for her and gave her one. I was also able to talk with a guy named Andre for about an hour, he took a Gospel of John also and my cell number!

I know this is spur of the moment, but I'm going to go to the NoHo Subway to hand out tracts if anyone wants to join me: 7:30 AM - 9AM.

Glendale - FOLLOW UP

We had a nice evening of fellowship and evangelism.  It was me, Faith, Clint, Derick, Dean and Sai, also Nancy came out for the first time. There was only one angry lady who really heckled me. Other than that it was a pretty mellow evening. We were still blessed to hand out about 800 tracts.
